About

> I'm Igor Rankovic, a systems engineer based in Belgrade, Serbia. I build, maintain, and obsess over infrastructure — both at work and at home.

IgorLab started as a single-node experiment and grew into a full-blown homelab: a 7-node Kubernetes cluster, custom networking with OPNsense, TrueNAS storage, and a 4-printer Bambu Lab 3D printing farm named after Stranger Things characters.

The lab runs 24/7 serving my family — media streaming via Jellyfin, home automation via Home Assistant, password management, file backups, and more. Everything is self-hosted, everything is documented, and everything eventually breaks in an interesting way.

This site is the public face of IgorLab — a place to document the journey, share knowledge, and showcase what's possible with consumer hardware and open-source software.
